We got back from vacation last night and headed to church today! I was so glad to be back at North Creek. I look forward so much to Sundays and spending time with my friends on Sunday mornings. It’s a great place to be yourself and forget about the rest of the problems in the world for a small window of time. It’s that safe place where you can bring in all of your faults and worries and just be loved and filled up for a while. It’s peaceful for me, even in the midst of the harsh realities of people’s troubles. I feel like in that old bar that God can conquer anything.

Also, it was a great day because my beautiful neice, Brooklynn Christine, was born this morning! Congrats to Jerry and Michelle Newell for their new addition!
